Oregon: Rising Tide and you can speak out to help Orville Camp stop herbicide spraying!

Please help our associates Orville and Mary Camp as well as protect
Camp Forest – watch this video, send it to your friends, post it in
your face book profile, write about it on a message in a bottle, yell
about it on loud speakers and tell your neighbors about it on tin can
phones.

The family that owns Rough and Ready mill has had a long feud of sorts
for decades on how Rough and Ready clear-cuts the forests surrounding
the Camp’s 100 year old water rights. Then contact Rough and Ready and
Mike Carrier! (contact info on the video yo)

Sounds a lot like what they keep trying to do here in California, see lbamspray.com for more info.

ola – i am deep touched by Orville Camps EcoForestry ways there on their homeland.
What Legal Leverage can we use to stop clear-cutting killing & spraying forests poisoned by pesticides for profit? We must request & demand a deep ecological analysis of ‘Environmental (health) Impact Study’ done & made public for feedback before a clear-cut or spraying is done,
to prove no heavy or long term damage to native food web, watershed purity & diversity of wildlife habitats.

I must make a correction to the comment I made on May 19, 2009. Rough and Ready Lumber was certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) not by SFI. Sorry for the mistake.
