British Columbia: Loggers lay ruin to popular tourist destination which was ‘saved’

I have attached a few pictures of recent logging (this past fall) of
old growth forests above Hot Springs Cove in Clayoquot Sound for you,
this was done by Coulson Logging out of Pt. Alberni. We took these
photos two days ago.

This is directly across from the popular Hot Springs where thousands of tourists go each year. Logging is presently taking place in Beddingfield (AtleoRiver area) and in Rankin Cove where an enormous floating hotel for loggers is now located.

Coulson has applied for log dump permits all over the Sound. We appreciate all those who opposed these permits. All the best to you, For All Our Relations, Susanne Hare, Steve Lawson, Clayoquot Sound
